Thanks for the feedback. I am impartial as I don't really have an interest in either team. I just find it hard to believe that Debrincat is going to want to stay through a rebuild. I get he is an RFA but I have to think he will still demand a trade. When players demand trades and sit out, their value drops because other teams know that you are sitting on a dead asset.

Or NJD select Slafkovsky who plays wing and will be a better player long term than debrincat

Oh he may be, but I would be shocked if New Jersey doesn't take the best player in the draft regardless of there needs. You don't take Wright with the 1st overall pick because you don't need a center.
