You think Gostisbehere all of a sudden has positive value? Sure, he had a great season offensively, that doesn't mean he still isn't a defensively liability

I absolutely hate it, watching Twitter after Trotz was fired was a ****-show, maybe you and I should start a podcast and make these f****** mad... I love the Islanders, can't help it really, my family knows the Persson family (Stefan) that's why I am rooting for them in the first place, what is the thing with 80% of the fanbase? Zero hockey knowledge? I didn't think the Swedish NHL supporters knew more than actual Long Island residents about the team but essentially every Swedish NHL podcast, and there are a lot of them, praised the move by Lou because of the Trotzs handling of the youth, etc. Stunning really...

Yeah I’m not the biggest Lou guy but even he couldn’t take how bad Trotz was at handling players under the age of 25. Everywhere Trotz has coached most of the young guys hate him, it’s pretty telling.

No, I'm not either, BUT he shows accountability by this move, he doesn't accept failure and he puts that on Trotz, I like it. Now he puts himself in the "cross-hairs" (is that the right use of the wording?) and I like it... I can try to gather some thoughts from Stefan if you'd like to? Do you know more Islanders fans by the similar thinking as ours? (Sorry for the grammar)... I can try to talk to him and "report" back to you and similar Islanders fans about his thoughts if you want to if he is in the mood. Without getting into the details I can "report" that he's not feeling well by a disease he's got, but he always likes to talk about the Islanders...

I agree, and if Lou doesn’t make the right moves he should be the next to go. I’ve seen a few isles fans on Twitter that share the same views, but no one I know personally. Yeah if you get a chance that would be cool.

It would be hilarious in a sad way, when we finally thought we’d see Barzal and the young guys flourish in a new system with a modern coach/mindset. Then we get the young guy bully Mike Babcock lol.

Babcock and Martin got into a physical altercation , I can’t see Lou doing this lol. It would be out of character even for him
