Offersheet galoreAttempting to make the coyotes a competitive team

Created by: NucksnOilers

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Ok so first things first you keep chychrun in promising him of taking in talent

Crouse is a great 2nd line who brings physicality and hayton is young and can play a 4th line role

You bring up mcbain for the bottom 6 in hopes he can prosper

With arizonas third ovr pick you make the pretty obvious decision and take savoie

Now the first offer sheet is roy, roy is a great guy for the 2c spot as vegas can't afford to match and he has 60 point potential

You force torontos hand and offer both liljgeren and sandin to deals knowing they can only pay one. They probably choose sandin so you make a backdoor deal with them taking in liljegren giving them an extra 4th.

Calgary is in cap hell and the odd man out here (with gaudreau of course) is mangiapane. With tkachuck wanting probably near 10 million and kylington wanting around the 4-5 mil range you take their mini mark stone and sign him to the highest you can in that range

With bear you just make a straight up deal for him he is a great fit anywhere (especially edmonton :') ) so he is great for finishing up your young d core

You need that elite 1c right now and necas seems like the only option (if i am wrong someone please correct me) caronlina is not in a position to pay him big money so u overpay for him in trade and give him a bridge deal in promises of giving him a 7mil+ in the future

You straight up outbid everyone for husso

Please tell me ur thoughts of course they should not do this but it was a fun concept so I wanted to try it out

Ok well yeah obviously the whole point of this is to see if it's possible to make the coyotes a competitive team using young players lmao. Like I said myself there's no way they should do this but it was just an idea I had and wasn't mean to be realistic

It's a nice idea but the problem is convincing players to sign an offer sheet to play for one of the worst run teams in the league and in a joke of a rink. Can't see many guys signing up for that unless you massively overpay them. Even more than you did in this post.

Way too much for necas his value is a mid 1st + a 3rd maybe.
also hes not a center and rarely plays there. hes a winger unless injuries need him to step in
if he was my 1c id be very worried

ARI trading away their 2023 1st rd pick is probably one of the worst ideas ive seen on these boards in a while...

The only way I can even see the Canes moving Necas would be in a move for Chychrun. That’s assuming that the Canes even trade him at all.

That this is just a fun concept on a site made for fun hypotheticals where not everyone is realistic?
