Flyers would love this, nothing will make a team move a young affordable top line player who had over 50 points on a very down year, than the last pick in the first round…

Haha sorry, maybe add the Sabres top prospect to the deal and the wheels might start moving.

Pretty much, his value is a mid round first, a top prospect, and possibly a lesser roster player… bottom 6/ 3rd pair…

So if the pick is going to be the first round pick of the president trophy winner then the prospect much be an A+ prospect

Yeah no chance you get an A+ prospect for Travis, you wouldn't even sniff Owen Power 1 for 1 with Koneckny. You're valuing an average middle 6 forward WAY too highly

Middle 6??

Calling TK middle 6 is like calling McDavid an average player.

I don’t think Power is an option, not even sure id be mentioning a guy like Quinn… Sabres have an incredibly deep prospect pool… peterka or Johnson. Granted they are more A than A+, but no, a late first won’t even get your foot in the door on TK

You said add the sabres "top prospect", and you're vastly overrating a player that in his last two seasons that has averaged 55 points a season. He's worth a late first and a decent prospect, and that's it. Stop being biased

I said “a top prospect” not “your top prospect”, he is easily worth a mid first and a top prospect, not being biased, just understand the game more than just a few numbers.

His numbers dropped the moment AV took over coaching and went right back up when he got fired. That should tell you a lot… had 42 points in the 57 games without AV and this was while going through multiple centres… G was traded for 25, coots was out, Hayes was also injured for a period of time… so In those 57 he played with a 3C for over half of them and a 4C for a handful as well…

you said "maybe add the Sabres top prospect ". word for the word, "the sabres top prospect". He's a nice forward, pretty decent defensive game, but 0 chance any team in the league would be willing to give up comparative value to 16th overall and Peterka for him. Pavel Buchnevic is literally better, and got a 2nd + a below average bottom 6 forward.

I’m done debating with you, be ignorant, doesn’t bother me that you’re undervaluing him

The only things you've done to support your argument is bring up these excuses for why he should be traded for "the sabres top prospect" and a mid first, "just to get the ball rolling." Just wait if the trade happens, if you're expecting a Peterka level prospect, and a mid first with more, you're going to be disapointed. Stay biased my friend

LMAO, okay Mr. TK is Middle 6, I am totally the biased one here and never supported an argument with factual numbers on why TK is a top line player and worth the aforementioned value.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh, and FYI, bringing up a trade of a guy that was going to be offer-sheeted since the Rangers could not afford him was pretty hilarious. Not to mention his numbers and TK without AV were pretty much the same… Blais also was a guy lots of people were high on to become a solid 3rd pair power forward/ grinder type, but injures slowed him down.

It would’ve been just as pointless for me to mention Hagel in this discussion.

How can you call me biased lmao I have 0 bias for or against Konecny lmao?? One of us is a flyers fan, one is a sabres fan, I wonder which one would be biased?? Konecky is a good second line player, but I think he'd be on more 3rd lines in the league than first lines, thus me saying middle 6. Buchenvic with the offer sheet factor was a poor example, meant to mention Reinhart as well, who not going to be offer sheeted, and got a late first and good prospect, while being better than Konecny. I know his numbers and play wer e better pre AV, but that was years ago, he doesn't have the same value he did before, but that should be obvious. You said top line player, just wondering which team in the league would he be a top line player on? There's definitely some, but there's also some he'd definitely be on the 3rd line for.

You know you can be biased for your team by lowering trade target values or raising the value of your pieces to move.

AV got fired this year and there was an immediate improvement, that’s the guy you’re looking at… AV was here for less than a year and a half and every major player on the Flyers sucked during that time and exploded after… 2 years ago TK had 61 in 69, for .88 PPG, last year after the firing AV he went from less than.400 to about .773 with all the injuries

If you’re really asking what first lines he’d be on, well, a lot of them honestly… maybe not a place like Colorado who has a top 3 of elite players, but he’d fit in well on a large majority which is why most proposed trades have him as a top line.
Heck, he is pretty much on par with Skinner and Tuch in those stats, could replace one.
