Granted I’m biased here,
but for the Sabres to go from 16 to 7 you want us to give up a late1st and two early2nds….
That seems a bit steep & doesn’t make much sense when we pick 9th
If we really wanted to move up to pick 7, why wouldn’t we just move up from the pick9 slot?
It would much cheaper

That's seem like way too much from Sabres. And I doubt there is that much urgency to get that 7th pick and have 7th and 9th picks, in draft were top 5 is way above guys 6-20, where Sabres already have 2 picks regardless.

A mid round 1st, A really late 1st and two 2nds exactly.

First I would have to want to have two high picks, and I doubt there is that need for Sabres.
If that would be 5th overall and shot at picking one of that RHD - Nemec or Jiricek - 16th, 31th are on the table, the cap space for eating one bad contract and maybe one of the 2nds.

I don't know, or really care. But I bet we could get to 10th overall with 16 and 41

It's a 1st that has only slightly more value than another second.

Obviously depends on who's there, and if it even makes sense for Buffalo, but off value drop both the 2nds and that's about fair for both. Dropping down 9 picks and getting a late first seems about right

I don’t think much unless some crazy stuff happens
For example:
-Jiricek falls to pick7
Then maybe we give up a 2nd to move up 2 spots
So we’d still have pick16 & the FLA 1st
-then if Savoie is still there at pick9, maybe we’d be interested in moving up again…. maybe
But in that case, i think we’d still wanna hang onto the FLA 1st
Just my guess, but i think the offer to move up at that point could be our 16th pick + a decent prospect or 2 (like Portillo &/or Ryan Johnson)

But it would have to be a specific situation like that,
where 2 guys we really want start falling
