Dadonov has most California teams and likely most Canadian teams on his No Trade list. Probably for tax reasons.

Minnesota declines and so does most teams. Minnesota isn't trading fiala for connor Garland and 1st round pick .sure as heck if Guerin decides to trade dumba, for that value of AHL G backup and 7th d

Vegas declines, They're not giving up that much for a one year rental, And they can't afford him long term. Minnesota passes as well. They can get a far better deal for both Dumba and Fiala.

Lol it's a stretch for both but Fiala alone for Garland a first would be up there compared to what they'll get offered

Vegas can't afford two of three pieces as it stands they'd be trading. Vegas also looking very short term.

Wasn't sure if a competitor not too far away might be of interest but ya... Cali tax could be a reason for sure.

Why would we be paying our primary divisional competitor for Dadonov?

That's not the main part of the trade and those trades can happen.
