    Bailey is a pure cap dump and Palmeri isn’t going anywhere unless some cap comes back. Seattle isn’t the team either

    I'd have to find the numbers again but I believe his production under 4yrs of Trotz was 25% lower than his rookie season (only other season in the NHL). I'm sure part of it was Trotz system, but some of if too could be teams learning how to play Barzal. Also doesn't help that over the last 3yrs Barzal ranked top 5 in most turnovers per game.

    You can get a (not overly representative) preview of the relationship as both Barzal and Julien are with Team Canada right now at the World Championships. Barzal did not play in game 1 because he wasn't there. He is expected to join the team on Saturday which seems odd since the team arrived in Finland on Wednesday (illness? personal matter? no reasons were given).
