Detroit isn't going to take on any rentals.

Your contracts are way off. Fiala at $6M, Midds at 750k, and MAF at 2M? Not happening

Middleton and MAF will definitely get more money and prob Fiala as well. Some of the trades are fine but I do not think Jost to Los Angeles makes a lot of sense.

Detroit declines. Rather keep the picks and sign a UFA backup goalie.

My original trade was Talbot to New Jersey for Bernier with New Jersey retaining half half of Bernier's salary, but I felt that would be a downgrade. And Jost was originally packaged with Kulikov to Anaheim, but Anaheim's forward core seemed set in stone to me.

This is on the assumption that all 3 of them take team friendly deals.

Yeah I guess this just looks more like unrealistic than it does team friendly. I mean Fiala signing a 4x6M coming off an 85 point season a year from UFA? You could buy him a house here and that still doesn’t make sense

There's been a couple of people saying that he'll get somewhere between 6-8 million. I was thinking he'd get 7 million, but with his lackluster playoff performance, one can imagine that number is going to go down.
