Good luck with that, You're easily looking at between $8,000,000 x 8 years to $8,500,000 x 8 years to sign Kevin Fiala. And the Caps don't have the cap space for him.

Thats 500k more im sure that the caps could make that work somehow and find an extra 500k

Probably closer to $1,000,000 more and besides Minnesota doesn't accept that.

I find it hilarious that people are always like you cannot fit all those players under the cap, you are in cap hell. And yet good teams manage to pull it off one way or another. Washington is a good team. Despite, Minnesota declines.

Crazy part is I actually thought they could've pulled it off, but blowing those leads in those games were backbreakers in my opinion. I still don't think the Caps are going away. If they can get more consistent goaltending, that'd be a plus.
