Deal. I think in actually it might be a 3rd to move him for future considerations. Given future considerations can turn into a great asset.

Flames will likely have to make the decision between Wolf and Vladar to be the second goalie this offseason or the next one.

I know he’s only 21 but Dach hasn’t shown enough for me to want to trade the 11th overall for him.

I just don't see Khaira having a place on the team, I think our 4th line set with Highmore - Lammiko - Lockwood

I think it's still a bit too early to say Lockwood is a "lock" (pun intended) to play RW on the 4th line. Khaira could have a place on the roster, but I don't think the Canucks would be willing to part with anything more than a 7th to acquire him

That's a very easy No. The sharks brass already said they won't trade their 1st this year.

Leafs just happen to have two good RFA Dmen this year and Tor can probably sign both of them cheaper than 4.1M but the offer sheet scenario at 4.1M would at least give TOR a tough decision. I just saw the Mrazek trade somewhere else and they get a fourth plus a 23yo back so it isn’t that expensive of a cap dump.

Sure, but that's just it. You arnt gonna get both. You either poach the player and the leafs just buy out mrazek because they dont need that extra mill in cap space or you get the leafs to over pay to get rid of mrazem (which they wouldn't anyways, but lets say for argument sake they do).

I had a tough time on that one bc I know JVR is overpaid but he’s not nearly as bad as some of the other big cap dumps across the NHL.
