Having a right side consisting of Hamilton, Severson and Bear would be absolute fire.
Besides, this would mitigate any damage done if Devils are unable to extend Severson.

Is there any info or explanation for why Bear isn't playing at the moment?

Just speculating but I think Bear falls out of favor with his coaches because he commits brutal turnovers at the worst times. Most of the time he’s a solid two way 2nd pair D. With more experience those kind of things won’t happen. Reminds me of Adam Pelech from 5 years ago.

He has played 2 games after a win in these playoffs, game 3 following a game 2 win, and game 5 following a game 4 win, making him 0-2. You don't award wins or losses until after the game, so game 7 isn't in the books.
