I just had an idea.

Major League Baseball had what was called "Players Weekend" where the players were able to wear a jersey with their nickname on the back instead of their actual name.

Why not do that for the NHL?


really i just want an excuse to buy a blue jackets jersey with "YEGOR BOMB" written on the back

Playoff Bracket update
OVR: In round 1 I was 7/8. Now in my start of playoffs bracket for round 2 I had Tampa in 7 over Florida, Canes in 7 over the Pens, Avs in 5 over STL and Calgary in 6 over the Oilers so let's see if that can play out well

By Round
In round 1 I was also 7/8 ( obviously )
My round 2 predictions are Tampa in 7 over Florida, Canes in 7 over NYR, Avs in 6 over STL and Flames in 6 over the Oilers

Anyone complaining about the officiating in the Stanley Cup Playoffs should watch the WC. You'll feel better. The majority of NHL refs are really, really good.

To be fair he pretty much did on even strength.

Draisaitl has scored over 50% of his playoff points on PP, McDavid one third.

I accept legitimate criticism. Mindless complaining just doesn’t do it for me. Zadorov hit Glendening in the head, Hakanpaa hit Coleman in the head, Trouba hit Crosby in the head. It’s the playoffs. I don’t like it, you don’t have to like it, but it is what it is and no team’s exempt from sh*t like that.
