Barry Trotz is the exact opposite type of coach the team needs. Keefe is the guy.

Don’t overreact. The team showed the last 3 games that they can be a playoff team - they lost to the defending 2 time champs. Pull a Tampa and believe in your core.

I have no issues with the way the Leafs played. That series could have went either way. I understand the frustration and disappointment from the fan base, but this team is close.

Going 0-10 in elimination games is just an unreal, crazy anomaly.

Despite suppressing offense of certain players, he's gets the most out of each one of them. He got Washington a cup, a team that was very much an offensively star studded team. He could do the same in Toronto. I don't doubt Keefe can get franchise highs in points during the regular season, unfortunately that means nothing come playoff time. Trotz is a proven winner.

Certainly wasn't Matthews, Marner, Nylander or Tavares all had great series. Some of the best players in the world are on this team. Trotz took a talented Washington team over the top, the exact type of scenario in Toronto. Also took a bottom conference team in NYI into one of the best in the East. I think he's the guy

Until you realize he’s from Manitoba and the Jets are without a coach

Who do you think has a better chance at the cup though?

Honestly neither team has much of chance at winning anything for the next 15 years

But Trotz already has his cup

Talent wise I'd go with Toronto. Just established a franchise high in points in a really tough division.

I think if Trotz looked at Winnipeg or Toronto's roster RIGHT NOW, he'd pick Toronto.
