Morgan is the only player on this team who gives a damn enough to say how it is. He is the LAST player traded.

Ducks laugh at the Gibson offer, Plus he has a 16 team no trade list, Which probably means that most Canadian teams are on it.

Toronto just isn’t going to win with 3 players over 10m a year. You can’t build enough depth or well rounded ness at defense and goal this way. The core will be broken up this offseason.

I gotta think isles accept. I know his contract takes him through his age 35 season but this is a good price for a top offensive dman.

Yeah they do, and it’s not. This is a classic example of comparing two players on a spreadsheet and thinking it’s a good exchange.

I have no clue what you're on about with this spreadsheet stuff. Kerfoot is the better player. He's the player with more value. He's younger. And Foligno is coming off a total outlier career year. And a weak playoff showing, to boot. And on top of all that, the Wild's weakness up the middle was just exposed.

They take that deal and run with it.

Kerfoot is the better player how? Cuz he chips in a few more points? Yeah no. Foligno is in the 99th percentile for EVD, 52% EVO and 83% on WAR. Kerfoot is 60% on EVD, 8% on EVO and 44% WAR.

On top of that, Foligno fights, hits, wears an A and has term left. Kerfoot has a year remaining.

I can assure you the Wild do not “take this deal and run.”

Heh. It's a more than just more points, and it's definitely more than just even strength line analytics (btw are we actually pretending that Foligno isn't the passenger on his line?). Hey, by all means, I hope the Wild don;t do this trade. It only helps my team.

Lol if anyone is a passenger on that line, it’s Greenway. But you’re clearly just editorializing your own opinion, so I’m really not surprised that you missed the mark there either.

Oh are we pretending you're not editorializing your opinion (which is a redundant phrase, by the way)? We'll agree to disagree.

Strange how Foligno was on a career year two seasons ago, then on another career year last year, and finally on one again this year. Furthermore, he's been amongst the best defensive forwards by analytics during that same timespan. This isn't a fluke. Foligno is better than Kerfoot, period.

At what point do people maybe start to understand that he's better then they give him credit for. And what's this about a weak playoffs? The man took a cheap ass knee on knee from Macdermid in the final regular season game against the Avs and still played through it for six more playoff games while playing at something like 60% health, and also took Kyrou to the cleaners on a big open ice hit which led to a scoring chance the other way in game three.

Aside from Kaprizov, The GREEF line was our best line of the series. It took Berube taking the ROR line off Kaprizov, which was ineffective anyway, and sticking them on the GREEF line to get the series back under control and in your favor. They stayed on them the entire rest of the series.

No they don't ..Guerin, will never trade foligno. Not a chance will he trade foligno, or in his right mind trade him for Kerfoot

Lol you haven’t actually made an argument besides “Kerfoot is better, bro.”

Foligno is a better player, except for PK. He has term and brings intangibles - ie is a captain. Theres multiple wild fans in agreement that this is trash.

Just take your L and move on, big fella
