I do like the thoughts. I'm open to Lehner, and I get not getting into the minutiae of the trades.

As for offersheets, the Leafs are ripe for one like that one, but not sure how high I would go. I do think TOR will have to be fast on making moves before someone strikes like this.

I honestly don’t see Lenher waiving for NJ. I really do like the idea of offer sheeting sandin at that amount bc he’s going to be underpaid by Tor if he doesn’t get an offer sheet. Either NJ ends up with a very young promising defenseman or Sandin stays in Tor and gets a better contract than he would have otherwise.

I like these. Of course I'd worry about a potential retaliatory offersheet so I'd try to trade first but I do like this a lot.

However, just throw a 2nd into that Vegas trade and add Hague instead?

It's just that I've done it like 4 times in a row in ACGM.
Needed something a little different for this one.

Just for argument sake, would the Devils be better off offering Liljegren to have that 3RHD? I'm not saying the amount, just the concept around it.

Makes more sense to me to get Liljegren instead of Sandin. Unless Ty is getting shipped out and we're letting Graves walk/get traded at the deadline. This team has so many LD ready and in the pipeline.

I don't really put that much stock into handedness, not like other people tend to do. Though the thought of offersheeting Liljegren did occur to me.
I think Liljegren is great and very promising, but Sandin looks like the more talented player by some distance.
Besides, Sandin, along with Hughes, Smith and Mukhammadulin seem comfortable playing on their off hand anyways.
I wouldn't worry too much about the RHD - LHD imbalance within the organization.
