That Jones deal seems good for the oilers value wise but unless Keith retires he doesnt really have a spot in the lineup.

A bit light on the Serg trade. Its less than what they paid for Hagel.

I don't think Edmonton would do that. Even if Keith retires they'll sign Kulak and bring Broberg up rather than trade for Jones.

I feel Serg is better than Hagel and a guy who could play top line LD would likely fetch more. He is due a raise but he is worth it also and is still a RFA.
