Your statement for Nashville makes zero sense. If Weber plans on retiring, Nashville can’t simply put him on LTIR and keep him from doing so. He either retires as a hab and Nashville gets hit with recapture penalties or he is traded to a team looking for a back diving contract to help them get to the cap floor without having to pay much in actual dollars.

Just look into it! MTL will pass that contract no matter what there penalty on the cap will be less then 500$k and he Pred's 4.5$M if Weber becomes retired! Pred's should get him back to control the situation!
