Samberg is not the LHD the Jets will be looking to trade.

Its even worse when you look at Oilers prospects and realize we don't need LHD or #3LW as both can be filled internally with Niemelainen and Holloway.

The problem is that if Keith doesn’t you only get just over 77M to use (third lowest cap projection in the league)

I’m going to guess you haven’t seen Samberg play

I certainly wouldn’t blame them for holding onto him. He will be a good one

I haven’t but he better be insane for an up and coming winger and a top prospect. If he is good sorry but he needs to be insame

There is probably very little chance the Jets consider moving Samberg.

What up and coming” winger? JP has played a lot of hockey in this league. With Kane producing now JP is expendable. We still have Yamamoto, Hyman, and Holloway is waiting in the wings.

CBJ would probably pass on Barrie. He’s not the mold of RD we really need right now - either a clear 1D, or a D with size and a shut down game.

Not really there with Lavoie either. His stock used to be high, but I feel he’s fallen a bit over the years.

We’d be willing to ship you Gus, with 50% retention for a protected 1st, or maybe a higher-end prospect.

I may be on the other side of this but I would probably do this trade. Heinola and Chisholm are also really good and I would be a big fan of JP in our top 6
