Seems dumb to trade Nylander. His contract is good. Should pay whatever it takes to move Tavares.

I don’t think any of the big guys get traded. The leafs pushed the back to back cup winners to seven and lost by one goal. They played well and barely lost. They would have won against almost anyone else. They are not in need of blowing the team up.

to improve in an area drastically rather that have a offensive talent that tries 85% of the time

Maybe I’m a bit biased but if tanger leaves the burg, I’d just trade Brodie and buyout mrazek and sign him until the prospects develop
