U probably need to work in a fourth team that Seattle possibly retains on scheifele and gets a package for scheifele. Not sure scheifele window and Seattle window matches up. Interesting idea though, was thinking something similar with Arizona and a Arizona retained scheifele ends up on a contender in the east.

Agreed. VAN needs more for Boeser. Idea is interesting though. Seattle probably flips scheifele retained to a contender for a big haul.

Okay what about Boston instead? A contender looking for a great 2C. Boston could send a first to Van instead of the 2 2nds, and probably Carlo would have to go the Jets way

I don’t know what it is, but I think whoever new coach is, his first call and meeting is making peace with scheifele, and convincing him the best thing for his career and chevys career and new coaches longevity is too keep scheifele in 1c or have to wait on lucious and perfetti, which makes a lot of interesting moves this summer. Kind of defeats the add of anyone with out a few years of team control.

That's a pretty awful return for Winnipeg. I can't see the Jets targeting yet another LD to clog that side even more and a rental winger that is a bad skater and hasn't lived up to his current contract, yet is looking for a large raise.

You have to think the Jets target players that at least fill a need for the team.

That's not happening from VAN.
