  1. Garland, Conor
Additional Details:
One for one trade due to rumblings that Vancouver would like to move away from this contract. The Leafs have had interest in Garland in the past. Canucks have had interest in Kerfoot in the past.

3.
TOR
  1. Raddysh, Taylor ($2,000 retained)
CHI
  1. Mrázek, Petr

How do you convince Chicago that Robertson is a significant improvement of Raddysh? As a Chicago fan I’m not seeing the upside.

How is he not is the better question? Noticeably younger and a much much higher ceiling. Moving Robertson would be a huge mistake rn; he is scoring 20 goals next year and you can hold me accountable for that

Essentially if you're the Blackhawks you are deciding on who you thinks ceiling is higher. Raddysh is probably the better player at the moment but at 24 years old probably doesn't have a significantly higher ceiling than his current output because he's already entered the prime of his career. Robertson at 20 years old may have a higher ceiling as he is still years away from entering his prime. 4 years younger than Raddysh. The question would be, where do the Blackhawks see themselves in 4 years? Do they want a 28 year old Raddysh (by then most likely on the decline) or a 24 Robertson entering his prime?

Chicago isn’t giving nothing other then a mid round pick to take on mrazek! Raddysh was a bright spot for them post deadline this year there not giving up on him yet even if Robertson has a higher ceiling

The thing with Raddysh is that he performed well in Chicago when given a bigger opportunity, and while I’m not sure about the exact numbers I think over an entire season he might have been at 20 goal pace. I think Chicago would do a 1 for 1 swap obviously, but I’m not convinced that they would eat Mrazek’s salary to do that trade.

Sandin hasn't earned a nice contract, he gets an one year prove your worth deal $1 million or less.

Also I've tried the Mrazek to Chi deal and take Connelly as a swap of bad contracts, I think it works out better. A buyout on Connelly is cheaper for the Leafs.

CHI was indeed reportedly interested in Mrazek, but even Dubas confirmed that is was Hagel for Mrazek, Knies, the 2023 1st, AND 2024 1st. TOR ultimately turned that down.
