I agree best case scenario but I really don’t think Nashville will trade Jeannot like some of these ACGMs are using cause he’s cheap and has team control vs Nylander who is a UFA in 2 years and clearly beats to his own drum. If you can think of something I’ll check it out
There are some options but it all depends on who is interested and what they are willing to give
As Nylander this season had
34 goals and 46 assists in 81 NHL games and in the post season 3 goals 4 assists 7 points
So the price arguably will be high and any team wanting him is gonna have to give to get.
Now some teams who could have interest
LA, NJ, Nashville, Seattle, Columbus, NYI, etc.
There are plenty of different scenarios and options but the thing is its all gonna come down to is this trade guaranteed to make Toronto better. As if its not then moving Nylander could end up being a terrible mistake
