Sorry signing UFA Mikheyev then trading him doesn't work. Trade NTC Muzzin likely doesn't work, Campbell doesn't sign for 2.7m

Why doesn’t a sign and trade work? He requested a trade in the past, it could be worked out.
It’s a 10-team NTC isn’t it? You can’t possibly know who’s on the list.
How much for Campbell, in your opinion?

What? Niemela (our top prospect), a 1st, and a player who was on pace for 30g, is EXTREMELY underwhelming?

No reason for Mikheyev or Arizona to do that trade, he just waits to a UFA. Players are putting on teams with cap on their NTC list. so I'm guessing Arizona would be on his. Campbell should get better offers from goalie starved teams that have cap.....Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, New Jersey. I'm guessing 4m X 4 years.
But again, a 20 man roster is no cap space is totally impractical.

Muzzin is being traded to the Islanders here, not Arizona. I get your point but it sounds like pure speculation on your part, I thought maybe you had insider information because you were speaking in absolutes. Plenty of teams in the league operate on an internal cap.

As for Mikheyev, the advantage here is the 8-year contract on a bargain cap hit.

Chychrun is a top 10 defender in the league… Niemla may be a top prospect on YOUR team but wouldn’t be on other teams. He’d be no more than the 4th 5th best prospect on that team not mentioning Arizona’s upcoming 3rd OA. As for Mikheyev… I would expect his numbers would drop the second he’s not paired with JT, Marner and Matthews

You’re wrong, he spent a lot of time on the third line this year, and had hardly any PP time to boot. If he is given a bigger role, he should continue to produce.

Niemela is one of the best defensive prospects not in the NHL.

There's no sign n trade UFAs. The word of "choice" here is "Free" in UFA.

He wouldn’t be a UFA when he’s traded…we would sign him first…we just went through this with Hyman man

Timothy Liljegren's (2017 R1 #17) bridge deal should cost around what 2014 1st round #17 pick, Travis Sanheim's, 2019 bridge deal which was 2 years at 3.25M. And you're going to get him to sign for 900k---lol get real...

offer sheet no compensation coming...and he gets a 430k raise out of it.

PS Muzzin has a full NTC until July 2023...so he vetoes.

PPS Not enough for Chychrun.

If someone wants to offersheet him that’s fine, but this is around what his qualifying offer would be.

Extreme bias on your part my friend.
There are many defensive prospects better than Niemela
