Description
My thinking with the Kakko offer sheet is that the Rangers will have to choose between Kakko or Laffy. Would they rather lose Kakko for a 2nd rounder or Laffy for a 1st and 3rd? Cause I dont see a way they could afford both of them making 4+ million aav

Also Habs pick Wright 1st overall, give him the 9 games then send him back to the OHL
Habs pick Jiricek with the 5th pick

Im assuming Price is unfortunately done. If not, use him instead of Allen (he can be traded anywhere), if not a trade to Seattle for Grubauer+++ or to Washington for Samsonov and a pick with retention

Anderson can be dealt to anyone willing to pay over a 3rd for him. Thought Nashville could use a 2nd line RW. Would be fun to see him with Jeannot on the same line.

As a MTL fan i think i just died a little inside seeing this
First thing that jumped out above all else was simple
Wright wasnt in Junior , He wasnt being played but sitting as a Healthy Scratch

There's a lot i can emphasize on but that just floored me .

Oh no i forgot to place him in the Minors section of the cap freindly. If thats your biggest issue then your dying inside is a little melodramatic

Not really
I mean these are some pretty unbalanced trades
But to make the #1 OA pick a healthy scratch is just a statement movement someone makes
Like all those questioning if MTL should draft Wright which is what i took you for TBH

In all honesty, I wasn’t big on Ghule going 16OA, thought it was a reach, but he is growing a bit on me. I don’t hate this offer, if you moved the EDM 2nd to the MtL 2nd and added a top 10 protected I think Philly would have a hard time not to accept…

I was thinking Habs 2nd and 2024 1st top 10 protected or Jan Mysak and Habs 2nd + additional 3rd
