I think Lapierre would benefit from some time in the AHL just to get some more professional experience, but if Lapierre wins that 3C job in camp I'm not opposed to that.

He needs hip surgery for the second year in a row, and today he mention looking at "every option" which would include retirement. I don't think he's done quite yet, but this is a just in case

Ah yeah I understand, hip surgery is always tough on these guys and at his age it will be tough to return to form. Good thing all he has to do is pass the puck to Ovechkin.
