To me Bryson is just a guy. Dumolin can fetch a decent haul at the deadline if we are out of it or can be resigned. He also gets us to the floor.

Trade for a guy who will be here for more than a year. Bryson is worth more than one year rental at the very least. Unless we are a playoff team next year I doubt Dumoulin would have any interest in resigning here.

To me Bryson has similar if not better value than Borgen a year ago. Just because he may be the odd man out on the left side does not mean that he is worthless. He is not the Robert Hagg throw in on the Risto trade.

If you have dahlin on the right, then power and Samuelsson are your left d. I don't mind Bryson, he's quick and calm, he has limitations because of his size, not sure if you want him playing 18 minutes every night. Depth left d seem to be super cheap to acquire (provided you accept that they might be a million or so overpaid), they seem to be the first cap casualties, nobody moves top line players to clear cap (despite what everybody seems to expect). If you wanna get bigger or tougher, there's a spot to do it. I would probably keep Bryson as a 7, he's cheap and versatile.
