Description

Is this enough for #2OA?If this were to happen I’d guess we would rotate merril ROR (or another young D prospect) and Goose for most of the year. If we were to take Cooley, I would propose trading Hartman but I’m not sure what he would return exactly

Cooley is committed to the University of Minnesota, so he wouldn't be in the NHL for at least a year (nor should he be). Given how Guerin has handled prospects, I think he'd be at least 2 years out from making the team. There's no reason to move Hartman as you suggest, even if he regresses hard next year he's still on a reasonable contract.

As for the Devils trade, it's a good return for that pick but I still think the Devils would just select Slafkovsky.
