All three of the Isles/Kraken trades are bad for the Bruins and so is Copp's contract. Zboril just re-signed.

COL declines easily.
They arent allocating 3.8mil in cap space for a "leadership" bottom 6F who put up 13pts this season and has been a no-show the last two postseasons.

i’d take gryz over reilly in a heartbeat. i doubt they give him up for just a third but he’s a better player and fits what we need imo

easy moves to make: reilly for a 3rd to a team. nosek out (expendable), foligno buyout, cant keep that 3.8m as a 4th liner, just not valuable enough there.

moves i can see happening, sending out smith and getting a cheaper 3rd line option, debrusk being sent out in a package for a 2c or for a 1st rounder this draft, grz being traded to also aid in cap situation.

moves i hope happen: KREJCI COMES BACK!

I think Grz is the better player than Reilly(GSVA thinks so too) so I'd snap this up in an instant. I'd be fine settling for Reilly-for-a-3rd, though.

any real trade would cost double for Gryz than Reilly and id rather use that only forward help. to me its probably Bellows and a 3rd for Grz while Reilly is a 3rd

as long as you have someone to pair with grz hes an analytics darling, drives play well, good puck mover, ide hate to see him be moved unless we got something worthwhile in return to be honest. immediate impact in the top 6 type player.

He would be with Dobson. And the Bruins dont want Palmieri, right? He would be a good fit IMO but probably not worth the contract. Maybe pageau if bergeron retires??

personally have loved pageau for years. going back to 2016 when he shut the bruins line down. dude is bergeron lite. the offense isnt there for enough for pageau. find it very very difficult to roster coyle and pageau tbh. bruins already have a palmieri with smith.
