- Upgrade their top-6 (Teravainen, Nylander, Svechnikov, Jarvis is crazy)
- Downgrade defensively, but find a place for Bear to stick in the lineup
- Nylander expires when Aho and Teravainen do (2 years) making a deadly team even deadlier and creating more cap space when the time comes to resign them
