The return for white was rumoured to be Dvorak? May I ask for your source?

Dvorak is too expensive for a 3C and either way we don't need one with Pinto here.

I feel Dvorak for White is a negative move for MTL. While I know dvorak may not be the most prolific player offensively as of late but he is good defensively and still has solid faceoff numbers. I think running it back with dvorak is the best call and if he still underperforms you move him at the deadline with retention to get great return (Tampa style) or you move him in the offseason. Also for me white is just way to risky and inconsistent.

I have yet to see one, its probably a case of citogenesis.

now this was before St.louis took over and dvorak started to play a lot better so it could be something or it could be nothing i only put it in due to the rumor

Uh, no they didn't. They speculated that Montreal may have been looking at White (citing that Hughes was his agent). Dvorak wasn't mentioned, there was no mention of what Montreal would be moving, and they said they may look at it again in the summer. In the meantime, Dvorak came on at the end of the season and Montreal won the draft lottery.

Montreal's not going to be interested in White unless it makes cap sense for them.

From what I remember the rumour was White for Armia, similar cap hit but playing different positions of need. At the end of the day with the fact that Montreal is likely to pick Wright at the draft the need to find a 2/3C is basically annihilated with Suzuki, Dvorak and Wright. In the case that Montreal gets Slaf first overall I could see the previously said rumoured happen even doe it doesn't excite me much, there's a difference between getting the biggest paycheck possible for your player when you're his agent and getting the guy and fit him under the cap, yeah there's a connection between Hugues and him but the roles significantly changed.
