How exactly does Zucker return Dube and Monahan cost a 2nd to move?

Flames decline both without a second thought

Yeah, I don't know what you were thinking with that Dube theft.

Two years of the more expensive 26-year-old Kapanen versus at least 4 years of the cheaper 23-year-old Comtois? I'll take my chances that Comtois reverts to being the more productive player. It wasn't his surroundings that gave Comtois a bad year and if it was, why wouldn't those same surroundings prove equally detrimental to Kapanen?

Det should take it but according to Seravalli every team interested in Pettersson at the TDL wanted him as a cap dump so I just do not know where his value is across the league
Anh is interested with a 2022 third attached as well
Cgy takes that, worth losing a second for them to dump monahan
Not sure how lak feels about Thomas
I think vegas can do a little better elsewhere as dadanov has rose in value post TDL
NJ says no
Dal says no
