Why would the oilers trade Bouchard? Especially for that package? Plus you're short on the Fiala trade, at least upgrade the first to Vegas'

Oilers say no
Minnesota would need more, upgrading the Vgk 2nd to Buf 2nd this yr or next and the Fla 1st to Vgk 1st would help a solid amount

I think if that's the best offer and you make it the 16th pick it could work.

Definately dont pay that for fiala's rights. Why do you want to deal with signing fiala away, and for a 4 year deal? Your marchment deal is a little low too plenty of teams in tax friendly place would offer more term and probably money and your still not over the cap floor.

I really had hoped Mitts could have built off the way he ended the 20-21 season. He would have been a really solid player for MN to pick up if he had. Now he's just another player to add to the collection of Hartman, Freddy G, and Jost type of centers you don't want anywhere near your top-6.

I don't see much reason for Fiala to sign long-term in BUF. It just feels line another Hall type scenario playing out for BUF.

Yeah, if Marchment were to take only 3,5M, the Panthers would probably bend over backward to make room for him.
