Max term you can give him is 7 years. He's probably not returning though as most of these trades never happen

No it's still 7 because he never played a game for Toronto last season

Did this change over the last year? Because EDM was working on a deal with TOR for Hyman to do the same last offseason

Edmonton was working on a deal where Toronto signs Hyman then trades him to Edmonton (sign-and-trade).

It was changed in the last CBA update in the summer of 2020, a player must be on your roster before the previous TDL to sign an 8 year extension

It should also be noted that sign-and trades are really just not a thing in the NHL. They happen in NBA but pretty much never in the NHL

Kadri got a new agent, Darren Ferris, whom you might know from representing another highly paid player. Kadri making room for the Brinks truck backing in...

Signing a guy who's going to be 32 to start next season to a 7 or 8 year deal would be incredibly hilarious. Nazem Kawhi tears of joy

I love kadri, but he's 32 years old next year. and will probably never get even close to his numbers this season
