They would probably use Trocheck or Mercer at 3C and put Zetterlund or Foote onto 3rd line wing.

Not quite sure the jets will be able to dump wheeler. Especially with a full no move and that cap hit.

I think (hope) they don't trade the pick ... and if it's Slavkovsky, he won't be ready for NHL duty next season.

Word is that Mark S and Wheeler were problematic in the locker room or just lazy leaders.

Rather have Wheeler. I have zero issues with him and can at least see his effort on the ice.

Where would you slide Boqvist into?

I’m, personally, hoping both are moved but in all seriousness that Wheeler contract sucks. Can’t see to many interested in taking him and his attitude and contract on. I’d be ok if we bought him out

You could trade to the Ducks with picks or Buffalo. They have tons of cap room.

Apparently its pretty well known around the league what an Ahole Wheeler is, between that, his cap hit, trade protection and the fact ownership and/or management seems to like him I can't see Wheeler going anywhere unfortunately.

Oh for sure, doesn’t mean his contract is moveable.
