Minnesota is the wrong team for Backstrom.

Why do some Wash ACGMs have him on LTIR??

I'd be intrigued if it were Kuzy instead of Backstrom. Isn't Backstrom facing a possible career-ending injury anyways?

Minnesota declines. Backstom was just talking the other day about potentially having to retire because he will never recover from his hip injury. Minnesota isn't in position to take on another team, franchise bad contract
