I don't think I hate this from a Detroit perspective, but I admit that I'm not up to date on how Fabbro/Glass are doing (aside from the stats I can google).

I wouldn't be opposed to signing Rust to that, if there was less term. 2-3 years would be ideal, but I don't see a 30 yr old with one last chance at a big contract agreeing to it.

None of the rest of these moves work for NSH.

Yzerman would've to think about it, Would love Fabbro Glass concussion history still bothers me. But this is a pretty fair offer for Hronek. The only way i see Yzerman dealing Hronek is if he does bring Petry home or signs Klingberg.

The Detroit trade is OK, just higher risk than the height of reward that could be for me. Would make me hesitant. I could be enticed with a little more a slight change in the offer if you were really looking for Hronek (a less skilled Ryan Ellis, just FYI).... Hronek is also the most veteran player in Detroit right now.. also a scary thought.
