Thoughts on this trade?

I don't think Philly will be anywhere near as bad next year. They have a roster (outside of risto) that looks elite. Getting Nylander would be a huge help on that first line. Alot of injured players are coming back in Sean, Ellis and Hart will be good to go. Losing a 1st rounder with 2 the following year does not hurt nearly as bad as some think. With Washington and Pittsburgh near the end, it seems like the right time to attack the Metro if I am Philly.

For the Leafs, it gives cap space to bring back players like Campbell, Lub and more. I would suggest switching out Lub for Gio if he is willing to take a pay cut. I could see it happening but did not put it hear. Fabree is not the same type of scorer as Nylander but he is a good second liner who should help with JT. Brink I would like to see more action but who knows.

thats an interesting trade for the Leafs Joel Farabee might make sense for the leafs. Also Joel Farabee aint no superstar like Kawhi lol

Farabee was literally our best player on the ice when healthy along with Konecny and brink just came off a great season at Denver this trade never goes through in a million years. William Nylander is a star but no superstar

Farabee arguably has more value than Nylander on his own.

Im sorry but philly's roster is elite aside from risto??? dude were a hot mess right now. huge injury question marks. farabee probably untouchable unless its a marner package. konecny/sanheim more likely to be moved. especially after the year sanheim had he was one of the bright spots
