Andrew Copp gets at least $5,500,000 x 6 years and John Klingberg about $7,500,000 x 7 years neither are signing that cheaply.

Bad deal for Columbus. Kuraly is better than Jost. He is also a hometown guy.

No way Laine is getting under 9 mill and that's a horrible trade for Columbus even if either guy was in a 1 for 1 trade

I’m still not sure where to place his figure. Portzline reported awhile back they were talking about $8.5M for 5-6 years. And that was during his hot streak.

Either way, absolutely, this contract is a non-starter.

I mean yeah for team-friendly sake I'd hope he would be less than Werenski's deal, but from his party standpoint he knows his importance and that he could get a little bit more than projected, especially after he returned to high tier performance this year
