Kap and Zucc Property Brothers Model

Created by: MNCountryClub
Team: 2022-23 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: May 13, 2022
Published: May 17, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Use Kap and Zucc to be house flippers for 1Cs. Take project type players that teams would covet if their numbers were better, play em in a 1C role, trade em, profit.

House 1: Hartman. Nobody is gonna overpay, but I still think you could move Hartman for above his actual value due to his contact and big year.

House 2: Tyson Jost (or other). Has the draft predigree but has been stuck in bottom 6 roles. Use the 22-23 season to pump his value and sell next summer.

House 3: TBD. The model may only need to be a 2 year thing.

—-

While you’re flipping 1Cs, you can backfill the other lines with quality talent to keep the team competitive, players developing, and locker room morale reasonably high.

If it isn’t obvious, this is very much just me having a laugh. I don’t actually think this is a prudent way to run a team, but it is an amusing one.

Who would be some good buy low candidates?

Couldn't getting rid of fiala get Minnesota enough money to chase trocheck? Also I still think Minnesota is chasing someone in the draft with their picks. I think judd brackett has his eyes on someone?

Buy low candidates? Off the top of my head Mittelstadt. If we hadn't acquired Jost I would have been very interested in giving him a shot. Chytil could probably use a change in scenery. I bet Texier could be had this offseason.

Id be really interested to see what Josts numbers would be if given 40-50+ games with Kaprizov and Zucc. I don’t know that they’ll go that route, but it does seem like there could be a fit.

Numbers(points) aren’t everything when it comes to 1C. Masking 2/3Cs with more stats won’t fool GMs.

Won’t fool them into paying 1C prices, but you could fool a GM into paying 2C prices for a 3/4C.

We’re not reselling mansions here on the MN edition of property brothers, my man. We take simple midwestern family homes and sell em for above market.

It’s all about value baby.
