I don't think NSH can afford to lose two RHD in the same off-season-- then they would only have one RHD, Carrier, signed for next year. Trading Fabbro just doesn't make sense for NSH without a replacement top 4 RHD.

Insane price to dump Murray. Ottawa will be fine if they have to roll 3 goalies next year, and he's almost certainly gonna end up on LTIR permanently at some point. Unfortunately he just can't stay healthy at all.

A. If a Fiala contract is projected to be 9mil I don't see the Sabres biting (projected by evolving hockey)
B. Sabres aren't giving up 9OA, Minn is in cap trouble Fla 1st and Ryan Johnson should do it

Sure, with the old mentality, saving Murray's owed salary (15 M$) would almost be a must but paying two 2nds and a 3rd to do it wouldn't be very productive for a guy who has a very good chance to end on LTIR as he has recurring health issues



I suspect several teams would beat that offer

I'd give up the 7th OA pick and Roby Jarventie (33rd OA in 2020)
