If Sharks buy out Vlasic, I like the idea of either signing Zadorov or trading for Reilly for a 3rd. I'm wondering, why didn't BOS play him more regularly? He's a good player, very good bottom pairing dman I'd say.

He was a regular prior to Lindholm being brought in. Then it was an issue of chemistry. Clifton and Forbort played very well together, so unfortunately Reilly became the odd man out. He could be a decent 2nd pair defender on some teams, although probably with a more defensive guy on his pair to anchor him.

Chicago, a rebuilding team, gives up their lottery 1st for a 4th-liner, a low-end prospect, and a 3rd?

Also thought about Elder as a stop gap 1-2 year guy till Kinazev, Cicnek, Hatakka, or potentially our 1st rounder from 22 are ready.

then the sharks are out because all 3 of our RD are Very offensively driven, unless Burns or Karlsson are traded that is. And yes sharks have put out in the world that they would consider moving one of the two.

Around trade deadline debrusk was worth about a first if not a first and a 4th and since then his value has only went up so ya I'd say zacha and a 1st would be solid, a bit of a stretch yes v
But solid

Actually it was a first plus Zacha, but who's counting. Be happy they didn't ask for Wood too.

Zacha for DeBrusk is a lot closer to reality.
Just straight up.

Maybe talking about a playoff team's 1st? But targeting a team that just finished bottom 5.....? How is DeBrusk worth the risk there? Makes no sense.
