tkachuk will sign but if this happens, he might be worth more

I think Tkachuk probably get more no? Unless you really believe in pinto. I'd think they try a swap with another superstar player (similar to the laine/Dubois deal).

I'd def take it if I was Ott, but I think Calgary would want more than that for him.

I agree that he likely re-signs but in the event he doesn't I could see him going to Ottawa to join Brady. They are obviously super close and that Ottawa team looks like they will be good for a long time (especially if they add Matthew) The other team I would guess is him going back home to St Louis which would also be a great fit going forward with Thomas and Kyrou.
The package could definitely be different though (Norris, Brady, Stutzle, Batherson, Chabot, Sanderson are untouchables but I'm sure everyone else would be on the table). I tried to pick some guys that would fit Daryl Sutter's style and keep Calgary competitive.
I think you guys are under-estimating this package...
2022 1st round pick (OTT) : this is the 7th OA pick. At least ONE of David Jiricek, Matthew Savoie or Joakim Kemell will be available
Pinto, Shane : blue chip prospect, very HIGH FLOOR. He has a defensive awareness that you rarely see in a prospect. This guy could very well be a perennial Selke contender. I wouldn't trade him for a pick but let's say I would, it would absolutely need to be a Top-10 pick
Brown, Connor : based on Coleman/Lehkonen/Copp returns, Brown is worth a 1st and a prospect. Connor Brown has paced for 50+ pts for 3 straight seasons despite being mostly used as a MATCHUP forward (87% of his overall production in Ottawa came at ES or PK)
Thomson, Lassi : 1st round pick in 2019, it wasn't clear why for a while but since he came over to NA, we understood why they were high on him, worth another 1st round pick
Two Top-10 picks, two first round picks and a prospect...
I mean, how many players are worth that?
I'd be ready to give 2022 1st round pick (OTT), Ridly Greig, Erik Brannstrom, Filip Gustavsson, 2nd round pick (OTT) and Colin White if they need a Center (or Sens would just buy him out)
Ridly Greig stock has continued to rise, he's not too far behind Pinto now. Brannstrom is not worth as much as Thomson but he's only 1 year older and has been developing well. Quietly put 27 pts in 83 games since last season (he was 21). Colin White is a good 3rd line forward, just a bit overpaid, but 3 years left. Gustavsson and an early 2nd instead of Connor Brown.
Tkachuk - Norris - Tkachuk
Formenton - Stutzle - Batherson
Joseph - Pinto - Brown
Crookshank/Kelly - Kastelic - Watson
