Wow. That is tempting

Wright is the clear #1.

It all depends what Stevie is looking for with the 8OA pick. If he likes Geekie, Mazur or if he thinks Savoie drops he will be hesitant to make this deal. It depends what Stevie is thinking.

Now I think the hab faithful will reject this trade easily

Take out Cossa and Primeau, And Detroit might think about it. Cossa is as untouchable as they come.

Même pour Shane Wright? Un duo de centre Larkin-Wright? Non?

Interesting deal, but I doubt any team does it
Just doesn't make sense for either team to do

I'm curious about Mazur. I know he's a local kid and his game keeps improving, but does he fit in the team's plans? Is there any way he's available or do I have to drop the thought?
Basically, what's the vibe on him?

but Hronek and 8th aren't worth 1st overall pick, even if Petry is included.

All the more reason why it would be a no, Yzerman isn't dealing Cossa after what he spent to acquire him from Dallas. besides we don't need or want an aging Jeff Petry when Hronek early in his career is putting up better numbers than what Petry did in Edmonton.

I'm sorry but the 10 YEAR AGE GAP says otherwise. This is AWFUL for Detroit.

Why don't the teams with the 1st and 2nd pick trying to trade those picks at least here on CapFriendly? This looks a lot like the 2017 draft.

Very interesting. The only way I see Detroit doing something along these lines would be if they could acquire a real good goalie prospect via trade (such as Knight, for example). Primeau is meh and I don't see Cossa getting traded.

Just like Primeau in his NCAA days, temper expectations on Cossa as he's playing for one of the most stacked teams in Canada.

Interesting idea but neither team makes this trade. Montreal is hosting the draft this year. There is a 0% chance they trade the 1 OV.
