Not bad offer though
Husso is given too much for too long . 2 years @ 5m is max I'd give him, MAYBE 3 years, but not worth it tho

Rofl maybe 5 years ago. 0 chance Chicago is getting an NHL ready top 6 prospect. Sorry. Rosen is the type of prospect you're going to get

Kane hasn't declined at all, He still puts up great numbers, not only is Buffalo getting a superstar on the ice, Ownership is going to make a ton of money. Kane sells, he sells in merchandise, jerseys, and most importantly tickets. A late 1st, a bust, and a meh prospect isn't getting Kane. When a Blues fan (@jwg314) tells you it's a bad trade, that saying something.

Rosen is 5'11'' and listed as 156 lbs? The guy is about 30 lbs too small...

It doesn't matter if he's declining or not, he's a 34 year old pending UFA, who probably will walk from a rebuilding Chicago. Chicago is not getting an NHL ready top 6 forward, even in a 1 for 1. You're delusional. Not a single team will give that to Chicago. Also if Mitts is a bust, Dach is a bust

Debrincat is listed as 5'7'' and 165 lbs. He weights 10 more pounds and is 4 inches shorter.

Rosen is a kid that will fill out his frame as he matures. Besides that I don't want Kane on this team, the Sabres should be past that thought.

Waste of assets, if Kane even wants to come back here, sign him next year.

A young NHL ready prospect like Peterka, Mittelstadt who is a good bottom 6 forward/poor top 6 forward, and a mid to late 1st is not a lot to ask for Patrick Kane who is still a difference maker at 34 years old and will play into his 40's. If you want to make excuses for not paying the price then you shouldn't even be thinking about trading for him. He is worth more to CHI helping with prospect development and teaching them how to be a pro, than he would be with anything less than that.

It doesnt matter who Kane is, hes 34 and has no contract. NHL ready Top 6 prospects are not an option. There is not a single team in the league that will give them that. Theres not a team in the league that would match this offer. Chicago is about to watch him walk away for nothing

Ok. If that is out of the question, then Buffalo can't afford him. Its that simple. But there are lots of teams that would beat what you are offering. And they are teams that actually win and plan to keep winning. Also, Davidson is not going to "just watch him walk away". I wouldn't be surprised if Kane and Toews have new contracts before the start of next season.

Who, what?
Why would Kane want to come back?

Come back to CHI? Plenty of reasons. He made a home for himself in Chicago. He feels like he can still be around long enough to win in CHI again. He feels like he can help the rebuild. He wants to finish his career on one team. He still has more milestones and records to break on the Blackhawks. He has also expressed a lot of interest in analytics and team management and maybe becoming a Hockey executive some day when his career is over. What better time to learn about all that stuff more in depth than in a rebuild? The hawks being bad obviously hasn't taken a toll on his production. It's all about just changing the mentality from "win now" to helping young players and worrying about developing a system and chemistry and all that stuff. Kane, Toews, GM Davidson, and Pres. and CEO Danny Wirtz have all talked pretty openly about this stuff over the last few months, if you just look into it a bit.
