Thoughts :)

New York fans hate this trade idea. I think it makes sense for both teams. Vancouver trade? Thoughts?

This team loses some forward depth but their dcorp is nuts.

There’s a better chance the isles accept than there is the Canucks do.

Islanders wont accept. I think the trade itself is fine but they aren't at all willing to give up pulock. He is a very key piece to the isles d

The fact that the two prospects coming to Van in this deal are very unproven. Yes they have potential but if Van is moving miller they gotta get something that’s atleast somewhat proven at the pro level already. Atleast that’s my opinion

Fair fair point. I kind of wonder if Vancouver might believe the potential in both the likes of Knies and Niemela to be too good to pass up, but hey, you could very well be right in that VAN wants something more proven in a return package. I mean Buffalo got Alex Tuch as part of the Eichel deal, and Tuch is a high end piece as oppose to Kerfoot

I dont think the trade is fine. 1st of all pulock has 8 years left and nylander has 2. 2 means no term bur also cant do a jgp and negotiate an extension right away. Even if we would be able to re-sign him it would be at a much higher cap hit than hes at right now. Pulock is locked in at 6.15 for 8 more years. Just imagine even with the cap only moving up a million for the next like 3-4 years by the time pulocks contract is up the cap will be at like 95m. And thats in addition to what you said abput pully being a core piece and officially a big leader in the room. (Plus his full ntc). I wouldnt touch this deal from an isles perspective.
