That is lowball for Malkin. He can't stay healthy, but if he does he is still 1.0 ppg player

So why not sign for 1 mil bucks and spend rest of the money on roster improvements ?

Both Forsberg and Letang get more money.

Washington declines, Zucker has negative value with his injury history.

Perfect, Ottawa would love a FOURTH goalie on a one-way contract. At least try to research what the other team needs...

You as a pen fan honestly think that after a 68 point season, That Kris Letang takes $250,000 less than what he currently made this year. No freaking way Letang will want more money and more term.

And good luck thinking that Filip Forsberg is signing for $9,000,000 per in Pittsburgh try closer to $9,500,000 to $10,000,000 x 7 years. If that's all you're offering him you'll easily be out bid.

He still can earn his money, by going adding LITR years to next deal or something. Penguins really could use additional 4-5 mil in cap space.

Caps decline. They love Jensen and they don't need a middle 6 dude who gets hurt a lot.

I Feel like Hockey players at some point will wise up and work with contracts a little more to win when they already made good money and are riding out the end of their careers. Malkin has made over $100M playing, Letang over $65M... Each should just take like a 4 year $4M to ride out in Pittsburgh freeing up money to add some depth and help the team win. I am all for it... But they might not be.

Can they make more? Sure, But does Letang want to take $9M to move his family to Ottawa (anywhere else really) for a couple years? Or does he just take like $4, stay home, have a chance to win and retire a Penguin? Same for Malkin

Why not use Seattle then?

Everyone should do that. They probably have much less fans looking at these ACGMs than other teams, and considering where they're at (just starting), these proposals are more "plausible" even without much research

Not that it matters but that would be one less page to open. I made an ACGM recently and traded a player for a 4th using the Kraken.
