Detroit gladly takes Pettersson for a 5th and a 7th... we would even beat the coyotes there with a 5th and a 6th to make you happy

We also gladly resign Stall for $2M a year one year and get the same value out of him as we would out of Dumoulin saving us the 2 picks. That trade makes 0 sense for Detroit

Adding an expensive bottom-6 forward when they wouldn't re-sign Nick Paul at 3.0 AAV is bad business.

Ottawa just won't have many roster spots as there is a massive massive logjam coming up.

Just for wingers, there's 8 regular spots on a team and maybe 1 extra (at least 1 extra should be able to play center)

Wingers : Brady Tkachuk, Drake Batherson, Connor Brown, Alex Formenton, Mathieu Joseph, Colin White (no spot for him at Center), Austin Watson

7 guys. They WANT to acquire a top-6 forward to play on Stutzle's line too.

Even if they don't acquire another Winger, those are the guys who will look for a W spot on the team :

Ridly Greig, Parker Kelly, Angus Crookshank, Adam Gaudette, Dylan Gambrell (W/C), Egor Sokolov, Viktor Lodin, Roby Jarventie, Cole Reinhardt, etc

The first 3 will be hard to keep OFF the team.

Not sure Manson is worth 5 M, and Id rather see POJ draw into the lineup then Beaulieu \
