To touch on the new trade that I haven't seen in a bunch of other TML posts - Vegas has a lot of other players they can/will move to get under the cap before getting to Marcehessault.

Winnipeg needs a lot more than just Nylander to send Connor, with retention, and a 2nd. Terrible deal.

And you're not getting Tarasenko with that pile of crap. Neither of those players is of any interest at all, so the late 1st is your best chip = no chance.

The jets say no to hellebyuck for nylander straight up and very easily never mind adding a pick and retaining that is the worst hellebyuck trade I’ve seen on here.
