I think Gurianov could pot a lot of goals on that line . Hartman is literally being carried right now. I don’t think he’s as good as his numbers suggest

Not really, he’s still good but his game has declined. If it were marking 3-4 years ago then yea I’m all for it but he’s on the 18th hole of his career.

I still think he’s an upgrade on any centre you have

Hartman has already declined to sign in Dallas once. I'm not sure they'd pursue him in a trade. Value-wise, it would be a fine deal for Dallas (probably slightly in their favor tbh), but I do wonder if they'd even pursue Hartman if they were to trade Gurianov.

Meh, just re-sign Fiala if you can afford Malkin and Gurianov. Malkin would definitely be our best center, but you can pencil him in to miss half the season.

Yeah but he also would be one of our top paid players and he would miss half the season anyways

Gurianov needs to get a legit shot at ice time, I agree and I also agree that Hartman’s numbers may be a bit inflated but he does fit a role on that line and it works. But with that said Hartman is still worth more than Gurianov because Hartman has at least put up the numbers.

Why would Minny trade away Kevin Fiala for a high draft pick and then go ahead and give the money to Malkin instead?!?
For sure Minny's #1 priority this offszn is keeping Fiala. They'll trade away Dumba or another Dman in order to keep him, Im sure.

TBF that really isn't saying much. JEE (MN's best center) is a nice 2C, but that is the only measuring stick MN has at that position. Hartman and Freddy G had a big years but everyone knows they aren't really more than a 4C playing up in the lineup.

Fiala's been gone since last offseason when GMBG didn't sign him to the longterm $7m/yr (IIRC) he was asking for.

Hartman's efficiency goes way behind his numbers though, this guy is tough as nails

Hartman > Gurianov AINEC

Gurianov is terrible without the puck, he's a Galchenyuk type who will "decline" young
