Mrazek doesn't waive his NTC to go to ARZ.

Ya, probably not tbh. There is a market for him though so AZ in this trade is kinda just a placeholder

That goaltending duo is really, really weak. I would not want to have to try to make the playoffs then make it through the playoffs with that duo. Not trying to be a jerk here but 2 backups is not an ideal goal tending solution for a contending team.

No one is buying Mrazek off of Toronto.

But worse off, if you think this goaltending tandem is going to get you past the first round.... WOW.... Good luck making the playoffs.

Could you imagine if they went with stolarz and hill, they'd burn the arena down.

Hill was pretty good last year before his injury. He shutdown some elite offenses.

Nothing agianst hill, he's been good. He was low key good in Arizona too. Its more what they'd do thinking that was the tandem.

you didnt finish your sentence..."Hill was pretty good last year before his injury. he shutdown some elite offenses" In a mid-sized quiet market where the team is not "expected" to win the cup every year from day one and the team didnt perform well anyhow so he wasnt really playing for much...

There now your sentence makes sense

Not a good Liljegren contract -- he's not a $4m defenseman right now and you're not even buying many years. And he's a 3rd pairing guy at that price? Not something I see TOR doing. Same goes for Sandin-- the contracts are just too big for those guys.

Just saying goalies can play really well for a year, maybe two and then just disappear.. Toronto is the hardest place to play for a goalie. That is a HIGH risk to think Hill and Stolarz can carry this team... Thats my point if you still havent figured that out. Neither goalie is bad, I just dont think they would do well in the market with the pressure.
